Unfortunately I didn't save the link to the poll I will , but a poll on the subject of whether or not we in DU like the new system produced a 69% support in favor of the "unrec" method. if someone has the link to the poll please give it to us.
To put that in context, that is is a higher approval even than our already very popular President.
I think that the system has been successful judging by these poll numbers.

Traffic is up.
Number of posters is up.
Number of threads is up.
Number of quality threads on Greatest Page is up.
Number of vanity threads on Greatest page is down.
Posters finally have a way to express some negative feedback instantly to a thread, something that most online sites now have.
It's a success from many angles. Those who worshipped the previous system did so because it was so easily gamed.
