Is SOS Clinton pushing back to prevent being pushed out?
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is blaming an exhaustive White House vetting process for the fact that the Obama administration has not yet named a person to run the U.S. Agency for International Development.

IMO, her position as SOS is being downsized as are all Cabinet positions.
Being replaced by policy teams.

3. no
I think someone made a good point with, look at who she's talking to? And It didn't really sound like a harsh endictment of the white house or something, because as thorough as the vetting is, it's not something that can really be argued since that heavy vetting is needed. Secondly, I really don't buy anything about being "pushed out"...plus, she has envoys helping her in some areas.

7. How did you come to that conclusion?
Seems like a bit of a leap.

While I find the story intriguing I don't get how one would come to such a conclusion. No one is pushing her out. There is simply to evidence of this.

9. Good. They need a strong vetting process because candidates fail to
disclose everything they should . . . hphmm Tom Daschle, Tim Geithner.
