http://www.stltoday.com/blogzone/commishs-hot-stove/commishs-hot-stove/2009/07/obama-to-be-in-fox-booth-as-well/

President Barack Obama will stick around a bit after throwing out the first pitch to visit the Fox broadcast booth at Tuesday’s All-Star Game.

Fox announced that Obama will join Joe Buck and Tim McCarver for the telecast from Busch Stadium but that the inning had not yet been determined

1. Obama at least can speak clearly
So he should have no problem in the announcer's booth, although he isn't a professional announcer. But he doesn't have to do play by play.

11. I wholly and completely support the separation of Sport and State.
I've seen enough Barack, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and First Family Fashion to last for at least the next four months. Please, let me enjoy some stickball without injecting politics or politicians into it. Please.

I am willing to bet we'll be seeing him in the booth during a Monday Night Football game too.

Gimme sports.

13. Thank You!!!!
There is nothing worse than politicians getting involved with sports.

I don't care which party they represent.

Host the teams at the White House, but please stay away from the ballpark.

Gimme sports, indeed.

5. I was really hoping Obama was going to outlaw baseball...
.... and make arena football the new favorite summer time sport.

This sucks.

16. Then we'd have no choice but to impeach.
" it's our game: that's the chief fact in connection with it: America's game: has the snap, go fling, of the American atmosphere — belongs as much to our institutions, fits into them as significantly, as our constitutions, laws: is just as important in the sum total of our historic life."
