CNN evalutes the first 100 days of President Obama
http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2009/44.president/first.100.days/progress.report/index.html

As he took office, President Barack Obama inherited a troubled economy, two wars and a host of other domestic and international challenges.

During his first 100 days, he unveiled a series of plans to address the economy, including a $787 billion stimulus, strategies to deal with the banking crisis and the faltering U.S. auto industry.
Obama also proposed an ambitious budget that included funding for key energy, education and health care programs.

Meanwhile, Obama approved an increase of troops for Afghanistan and announced his plans to withdraw most U.S. troops from Iraq by the end of August 2010

Obama also grappled with global challenges ranging from North Korea and Pakistan to Iran and Cuba.

2. Interesting that 73% in their poll oppose releasing the torture photos...
It's an unpopular position on DU, but I also don't see what the point is. Everyone already knows anyways.

3. I agreed with Obama's decision not to release them too

I've just never been quite sure what the practical benefits would have been for releasing them and saw much more risks for US citizens and, more importantly, our troops serving in the ME, by doing so. It might have been a broken promise and/or a "flip flop" but I think that President Obama probably had some second thoughts and (rightly IMHO) changed his mind. Plus, the fact that the photos didn't get released won't necessarily preclude any future investigations/prosecutions (although I doubt that we will ever see any meaningful investigation of Bush, Cheney, et. al even though they deserve it)
