that anyone other than a rich old white male Republican should have any kind of power, status or authority. So that's all they can talk about. To them, the idea of a Supreme Court nominee who is something other than rich, old, white and male is downright bizarre and alien (leaving aside Clarence Thomas, who apparently dislikes black people even more than the people who put him on the Court, but he's a whole 'nother bag of worms). Their questions boil down to, "But how can you be on the Supreme Court; you're not like us!" These fuckwads are racist and sexist to the cores of their souls.
