A question that haunts me about the billion$ that dis'd in Iraq, Cheney and |
|
hit squads.
Could those billion$ have been used by Rumsfeld/Cheney for hit jobs or nasty pranks by, say...Blackwater types or some of those questionable "contractors" we had on the payroll in Iraq?
If they didn't have to find a source to finance their pranks, they wouldn't have to go thru Congress OR the president. We know how Cheney worked, so why couldn't he and Rumsfeld pull this type of thing off? They'd worked together before, hadn't they? Iran Contra days? Wasn't Cheney around when that came down?

2. At one time intelligence/CIA budgets were hidden in budgets for public schools . . . |
|
in other words, we thought we were providing sufficient funds for schools --=
but not exactly.
Also, CIA/right wing money was used over decades to finance right-wing Senators and Reps --
And, of course, when Congress passed legislation to stop Reagan in Nicaragua, drug money
provided the money for their activities --
Nixon's first deals with Prescott Bush and GOP gang who hired him were for a SLUSH FUND
above and beyond his Congressional salary. Presume that grew increasingly larger.
Also, Nixon created a lot of mischief with his Re-election campaign SLUSH FUND.

3. You're right. I had forgotten about those characters and their sly games. |
|
Too many things to try to figure out from the last administration. I DID recall the Iran Contra scandal, though. I guess I'm not totally lost.
