Obama on the economy: "Fine. Give it to me."
From his speech today in Michigan, an ad-libbed riff:

I love those folks who helped get us in this mess, and suddenly they say, "This is Obama's economy." That's fine. Give it to me. My job is to solve problems, not stand on the sidelines and carp and gripe.

7. As far as R-D banter goes, that's a great line
The "this is Obama's economy" line is such complete garbage. And when it comes to people on our side of the isle, when we have disagreements about the approaches to dealing with the economic mess that's not the same as Blaming this administration FOR the economic mess created by the last administration.... but also by the last multiple administrations and about thirty years of bad economic policy.

24. I hear so-called liberal pundits make the same assertion, that this is "Obama's economy" now
It's infuriating. Why liberals/Democrats continue to co-opt right-wing garbage angers me so much!! :puke::puke:

33. This is why I am PROUD of my vote for President Obama. What a refreshing change, right? Work ethic
As opposed to cutting brush and taking vacations and sneering and mangling the language
Not to mention all the other trashing that went on in the last 8 years.

Here he is, merely six months into the job, knowing full well the collapse is not on his watch, taking on the burden.

And what? They're going to run Sarah the Quitter against him?
Oh, I think not.

34. Fine.
That's President.

Suck on that, GOP.

Apparently some BLACK PERSON with a MIDDLE NAME OF HUSSEIN spent time learnin' in school and particularly the part of "The Buck Stops Here" by Harry Truman.

After 8 years of young voters watching this administration, you better have something darn impressive up your wrinkled elephant skin nose.
