USA Today/Gallup Poll out Tuesday: Majority in U.S. Favors Healthcare Reform This Year
As U.S. House leaders unveil a plan to reform the U.S. healthcare system, a USA Today/Gallup poll finds 56% of Americans in favor and 33% opposed to Congress' passing major healthcare reform legislation this year. Support for healthcare reform before the end of the year is sharply split along party lines, with 79% of Democrats in favor, compared with only 23% of Republicans.http://www.gallup.com/poll/121664/Majority-Favors-Healthcare-Reform-This-Year.aspx

Some interesting #'s from the poll:

Clearly, the poll shows that Americans want health care reform to control costs (and many want universal coverage), they want choice, want it payed for by taxing the wealthiest Americans more, and trust Doctors and Hospitals and even Obama and Dems way more then the Rethugs and insurance companies.
This is an extensive poll and way more accurate then the BS Rasmussen poll out the other day on health care reform.

2. Those numbers on the reThug side a big enough to pound those against reform in the head with
...come election time.

Let the bastards vote against it and we'll see if the DNC has enough minerals to call them on it.
