1. Well you know it is that evil Socialism.. |
|
like the Police and Fire Department as well as a slew of other services.
They are so stupid that they think that Socialism is Communism...morons.
I wonder if they would be happy if we made everything a for profit service. Then when they call 911, they better have a credit card handy because that would be the first thing they would be asking for, instead of "what is your emergency."

3. We had to make an emergency vet call |
|
that we had to pay for. Had to give them a credit card upfront. I shudder to think of what it would be like if we got the same thing when we called 911! :scared:

8. I don't know whether they followed through with it, |
|
but last year there was a plan to do exactly that in Ventura County, California. If people didn't authorize a $50 surcharge on their tax bill, they would have to pay up front for 911 response.
And you thought you were speaking hypothetically.

4. kick rec #2 - "...Our job is not to protect the private health insurance |

industry, it is to provide quality, cost effective health care."
The only senator mentioning a single-payer, not for profit system to cover everyone.
