Damn Mr. President you tell 'em!
I think the trip to Ghana may have just changed him and our country for the better...
On Edit:
In case anyone misunderstands my comment, I have seen a marked change from the President since he returned from this trip as if something "flipped a switch in him". He's been on fire and kickin' ass and takin' names. I don't know what it was or if it was always there but, I'm glad to see him swing for the fences...

2. Of course that trip to Ghana changed Obama and the world. |
|
The most powerful man in the world, President of the USA, rubbed up against the worst institution in history, SLAVERY.
I am sure this is not the last we will hear about our President's trip to a slave trade center of 170 years ago.

4. Soory, but fire always there. Preoccupation with G8 over, beginning the finish line to health care. |
|
A must win.
I really can't imagine keeping the big organization focused, with so many concerns and policy changes.

http://www.obama-mamas.com/blog/?p=314I see him operating the way he always does. He lets things go their natural course, and then steps in at the very end and lays the hammer down.

6. republican intransigence has liberated him. they threw bipartisanship away |
|
obama's strategy (like it or not) was to at least appear to be reasonable and do everything he could to cater to republicans. when the republicans couldn't stomach any deal where they didn't completely control everything, it became clear to the public that it was the republicans who weren't playing nice.
now obama can do as he pleases and blame the republicans for passing up their opportunity.
