Moderate House Republican Mike Castle takes on birther (VIDEO)

http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0709/You_can_boo.html?showall

These people are completely fuckwads.

Here, a moderate Republican is trying to tell people that Obama is, indeed, an American citizen... and the ignoramuses (ignoramii?) in the crowd want nothing to do with it.

The birthers assault on the GOP... yes the GOP... continues. They're killing their own party.

  3. Yes, I do know where Peebo is.

"Republicans don't need this issue any longer. There are plenty of other issues like the economy and health care that is making the president's poll numbers drop like a lead balloon. Sarah Palin is just six points behind Obama in a 2012 matchup."

I'd like to know from what poll they're quoting THAT information!

Good Lord, the crazies have taken over the asylum. What was that about her family being in the greatest generation and fighting in WWII....um, President Obama's uncle fought in WWII also!

*shaking head*

She might as well jumped up and said "Black people in this country aren't REAL Americans and shouldn't be running the country" because that's what she REALLY means.

13. I think he wins because his last name is Castle and our largest county is New Castle
which is upper Delaware, the blue land.

Honestly, he's like a favorite grandfather. Everyone knows him, everyone has a story about how they met him. Hell I have pictures of me posing with him (He lives about 6 blocks from me).

He's not so vile. But I still won't vote for him

17. Thank you
"But the certificate is specific about Obama’s birth in Honolulu, down to the 7:24 p.m. time.

“It’s crazy,” said Janice Okubo, director of communications for the Hawaii Department of Health. “I don’t think anything is ever going to satisfy them.”

Okubo, who said that she gets weekly questions from Obama ‘Birthers’ that are “more like threats,” explained that the certificate of live birth reproduced by Obama’s campaign should have debunked the conspiracy theories. “If you were born in Bali, for example,” Okubo explained, “you could get a certificate from the state of Hawaii saying you were born in Bali. You could not get a certificate saying you were born in Honolulu. The state has to verify a fact like that for it to appear on the certificate. But it’s become very clear that it doesn’t matter what I say. The people who are questioning this bring up all these implausible scenarios. What if the physician lied? What if the state lied? It’s just become an urban legend at this point.”

In other words, nothing will satisfy them. NOTHING. And they're THREATENING her? Bastards.

22. A particularly elaborate and clever part of Obama's citizenship fraud
was for him to put his birth announcement in two Hawaiian newspapers the week he was born. This man is absolutely brilliant and forward looking. Decades ahead of everyone.

During the campaign someone was criticizing him because he said he wanted to be president when he was in kindergarten. Hell, he was already scheming when he was a day old. Clever little alien.

Good grief, what morons they are.

The woman is a fanatic. She has mental health problems. It was apparent in her anger and her flapping of her arms and, knowing the accent she has, she is white trash that never completed high school. She is a dumb ass wanker and the old fuckheads around her cheering will soon be talking dirt naps soon enough.

Fucking Palin supporters...

21. What is most bizarre is that these ignoramuses don't realize that it
does not matter in the least where Obama was born. He could have been born off-planet and he would still be an American citizen, because his mother was an American citizen! He was undoubtedly born in Hawaii, but even if he were not, he would still be an American citizen!

It has a crazy fundamentalist woman who turns others in the story into violent fundamentalists. That's what these people remind me of.

30. I saw "The Mist" and...
...what happened to Ms. Carmody (Marcia Gay Harden did an excellent job) is what I wish for all these people. We would be better off as a species without them. I know some here will find my attitude horrible, but I'm at a point where I just don't care anymore. Whatever the issue, it's always these types waiting around the corner to drag us make into the Dark Ages. At the very least, they need to be marginalized and observed.

32. She did do an excellent job; her character scared me
more than the creatures. And on another note, when she met her demise the theatre erupted into applause; so you're not alone. In fact, I was one of those applauding so I guess I'm horrible too. :hi:

33. The monsters were just the vehicle...
...used to deliver the real story, and that was how we behave during a catastrophe. It could have been a natural disaster. Harden was, indeed, very scary. To be honest, it's people like that, who scare me the most in life and as it stands, we have more of those here than anything else. I saw the movie on DVD so I missed out on the applause, but thanks for sharing that with me. I don't know if you read the original story, but it doesn't end quite so horribly. The film shows a situation I'm not sure I could live with. Very sad.
