Bet you thought a Republican said that, but of course, it was not. It was Senator Joe Lieberman just now in an interview with Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC.

He's is one of the six senators who signed a letter to Democratic and Republican leaders saying the Senate needs more time to come up with a health care bill.

Lieberman must know that delay is deadly. He's been a senator for a long time. He's taking a page right out of Bill Kristol's playbook to 'kill' health care reform.

1. A republican? Haven't they noticed how fucking out of touch they are?
Party of Lincoln = bullshit comment
Party of Family Values = bullshit comment
Party of Fiscal Responsibility = the whole ranch of bullshit comments

2. He is a republican.
He walks, talks and most likely sleeps with them. Should be no surprise to any of us, the man has made his choice and they still call him a dem. No way!

3. What really irks me...
is that most of the people that I have talked with that think health care for all is a bad idea have socialized medicine already. I am talking Medicare, Vets, retired federal workers. They love their system and don't want anybody else having it. We have some selfish folks in this country, of that I am certain!!

6. Lieberdouche makes a valid point here, despite himself
We should do it right, or do nothing at all.

Though I'm sure Mr. "in the pocket of the Connecticut insurance industry" has a much different definition of what it means to do it right than 75% of Americans do.

7. Lieberman actually said, 'Let's do it right, or else it's not going to get done at all.'
"Too have it happen, it's got to be bipartisan.'

Just listened to the video of the interview.
