I am so proud of Rachel tonight.

She is factually kicking Pat Buchanan's racist ass. Starting with her pointing out that slave labor was resposible for building much of DC where Pat has spent most of his life on through her rebuttal of his ridiculous assertion that the US Hockey team all hail from Minnesota, she is destroying every faux fact that spewed from his bigoted mouth. Most moving to me was her citing of the numbers of Blacks who died defending a country that treated them so shabbily.
Rachel also mentioned the transcontinental railroad being built by Chinese. She didn't mention my and Pat's ancestors, the Irish. What she might nopt know and what Pat would surely like to be suppressed is that the Irish in those days were considered to be "white negroes"
Rachel has done tonight what No one else on TV has done. She systematically and completely dismantled lie after lie that usually go unchallenged. Good on you, Rachel.
