Nobody talks about nurses and healthcare reform
It's all about the rich doctors, the rich insurance companies. What about the guys on the frontline like the nurses, lab workers, ambulance personnel. I am sure that the nurses and other health workers would welcome reform?

4. Perhaps the question should be how will health care reform affect nurses?
I can imagine nurses wanting reform without it directly benefiting them and thought a different question might bring out more information.
Hospitals need more RNs in the rooms to monitor patients.

7. Here's one way
I'm one of those invisible grunts in the hospital...transportation dispatcher in one of Tucson's largest hospitals. The insurance companies are strangling hospitals, forcing us to cut costs in all areas to unsafe levels. There simply are not enough people on the floors to provide adequate health care. Remove the insurance bean-stealers, and we'll eventually be able to get back to real treatment.

16. well- duh! Look who owns "the media". would you allow groups on your airwaves whose
sole purpose is to expose you for the exploitation that fills your coffers? well, neither will they.

Obama has spoken at length about the support he has from and given to nurse groups.

13. Sad that your post attracted few views and scant posts while celebrity deaths rule DU. If that
happens among an educated, well read, sophisticated sub population like DU, what can one expect among typical blue/gray collar workers that make up the overwhelming majority of our 215 million member electorate?
