LOL! Michael Steele making a fool of himself on CNN |
|
Edited on Tue Jul-21-09 12:30 PM by mikiturner
Wow, the anchors are taking him to task. Bringing up his disasterous presser, and the fact that he said he is not a policy guy. Now they are pushing back on his claim that reform will take insurance away from people who like their plan. Now they are pushing back on his claim that the government will tell an 85 year old lady she can't have a hip replacement. "Where is that in the legislation?" Steele: Blank stare, followed by fillibuster. Wow. CNN: "Steele is a have, and this is about have-nots." Steele then attacks "illegal immigrants." And can't identify his health insurance provider! That was a DISASTER. Kudos to CNN.

2. His ignorant laughing is so friggin condescending... |

So, what, it's ok that a "small segment" of people in this country dont have healthcare? That mentality is one of the biggest problems...
If he was concerned about his insurance, he would know what company he had...what an ignorant, condescending ass...

5. That's better than expected, considering that before the President spoke |
|
they trotted out a couple of crappy polls saying that over 1/3 of Americans thought healthcare reform would lower the quality of their coverage, and over 50% thought they'd have to spend more, then they wondered how Obama's plan would get any support when people felt this way.
Basically, they can't do anything remotely favorable for the Dems without throwing some help to the Repubs.
