15. Regrettably, I don't think that they're trolls or freepers.
It's just that there's a certain segment in the party that is never going to be happy with anything, usually because it's not far enough left, and if it is, then it's not being done right, and if it is then it's a conspiracy to make sure it doesn't actually happen. I call them the suicide doves, because they'd rather sit there, be "pure," and never get one iota of anything done instead of get "contaminated" by the dirty reality of governing.

22. You are right about some of them. But I believe many are trolls or freepers.
There is too much money on the line for corporations and the rich not to have trolls infiltrating the blogs to create doubt about the President and his policies. It's too easy and cheap for them not to do it.

A lot of them come here for free because the corporate puppets (Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Dobbs, etc) have incited them. Some are paid to come here and create chaos. Just like some are paid to call into C-Span with their idiocy and some do it because they are gullible enough to believe that multi-millionaire radio hosts really give a sh*t about them and have their best interest at heart.

It's called psych ops and propaganda and it works. Unfortunately, too many of the people that you are referring to have fallen hook, line and sinker for every ploy these trolls pull. We all spend way too much time arguing rather than unifying into action to make sure we get what this country wants and needs.

The populous left blog-o-sphere would be able to create an unstoppable grass roots effort if we would not allow these dumb asses to constantly demoralize and undermine us. And that is the point of the trolls.

that the Dems will be in power for the next 40 years. That and the $$ from healthcare lobbyists are their main reasons to defeat it.

21. Absolutely - It is also amazing how they so efficiently all repeat the same talking points
I think this is because it can be devastating as people then think because they have seen the same thing on Fox News, then heard it on Rush, and then read it in op-ed and letters to the editor in their paper, that it HAS to be true or it would not be said by so many "independent (!) sources.

On the polls, the strange thing is that the basic approval numbers have stayed in the same range - but it is only covered when it goes down from an earlier month. This leads to a major disconnect - Obama's numbers are high, but they seem from news accounts to constantly be going down - even though the number is near where he came in.

23. group manipulation via systematic talking points from a common source
indicates a unified effort to destroy the Dems and Obama

The GOP overlooks its Disastrous results during their turn at the Helm

Bush wasted 5 trillion dollars to the National DEBT...it was 6 T when he entered the Oval and 11 T when he left in Jan this year

Common Source most likely is the RNC, or Rove, Cheney, Rush....etc

25. True - they really are trying to rewrite history
One of the strangest think I heard was Limbaugh complaining that the media speaks of the recession starting at the end of 2007 to put the blame on Bush, when in fact it started in 2008 - so it is Obama's recession. He obviously is hoping that people connect Obama to 2008 - because he was the big news then - but that didn't make him President in 2008. They also have been comparing the published Bush budget numbers - which put the cost for Iraq and Afghanistan at zero "because the cost is unknowable", rather than the actuals. Your numbers are the reality, but the comparison you hear on talk radio is the deficit in Bush's dishonest budget and Obama's budget that included estimates for those costs.

The echo chamber that the Republicans have grew ever stronger from the 1990s through 2005 - Katrina pulled back the curtain and caused more people to see the truth. Now, it is still there and strong, but Obama has the platform of the Presidency and he has spoken over the heads of the media.
