3. Did we really survive Reagan? Not yet, IMO. Not until the millionaires start paying a fair share. |

4. Yes but that doesn't mean Obama hasn't done a lot to correct that |
|
damage already, and will do more in the future. That pic is fucked up. For some reason though I'm not surprised to see anything on DU anymore.

His whole life he has screwed up everything he's touched, leaving the mess for someone else to clean up. But permanent? Nothing lives forever but the earth and sky.

6. I voted "other" because it's too soon to know for certain. |
|
If Barack Obama's Administration cleans house, investigates, and prosecutes for past crimes, I think the Presidency can be restored. If he continues to ignore crimes, and actually cover them up, he becomes complicit in those crimes and is no better than the people who committed them.
Obama can make the difference. So far, he's shown a reluctance to live up to his oath of office.

9. If Obama doesn't hold Bush and Cheney accountable |
|
then nobody else will either. And nobody will hold Obama accountable. Its seems to me that something fundamental has changed and while its not too late to intervene, its getting late.

The kind of damage Bush did will take more than a few months to fix. It may take years for us to fully recover.
It's going to take a while to extricate ourselves fully from those 2 wars. Our economy will sputter its way to recovery, no quick fixes there.
