2. No, we can approach closer to perfection.
Let's get something good passed, and when folks see how well it works as advertised, we can supplement as needed to become more perfect.

It was Voltaire- and we might be wise to figure it in context.

Might also be nice to have a look for ourselves about all sorts of things- using credible sources, seeing as how we have the equivalent of the Library of Alexandria at out fingertips.

Let's not reject a good plan, because it isn't exactly what we dream of. It might very well help us to reach that perfect situation.
