Amidst the noise and anger, strife for and against health care reform,
Edited on Wed Jul-22-09 10:03 PM by babylonsister
I just find it nice that we have a guy who cares about his constituents. He's heard a lot of stories the past few years, and receives more daily.

Consider yourself lucky this guy is president. No one else is pushing as hard, and hasn't for a long time.

And as for the rethugs, it's all political for most of them, and I do think President Obama has recognized that. Political power trumps the basic needs of people who need them.

He's a nice guy, period. But I think he won't be when it counts, if we need to get this done without most of them.

And that makes me happy.

Related question: that doc on Ed today, rethug, can't remember his name. How disgusting was he? Claiming all is well in his state and his constituents know that to be true, and health care by insurance companies rock. :eyes:

Case closed.

2. That doesn't make them powerless
each and every representative regardless of party who votes against reform is voting against the American people. I'm done caring what 'team' they are on and who's 'fault' it would be. This isn't a sport I'm tried of it being treated like one.

4. We're most fortunate to have
a reality based Pres going up against the heinous hypocrites.

Just think if we had the Walter Cronkite days..it would be so easy.
