My Letter to the media
My letter is in reference to this article:

Dear XXXXXXXXXXX

Are we supposed to be shocked that Barack Obama met with folks associated with the Health Care Industry? Where those meetings really that secret? I remember a few of them at the time that they occurred. In fact, there was a White House Press release for the May 11th meeting, which listed the names of those in the article. There were also a couple of Summits in late February and early March at the White House, and again, the people listed on the “List” attended. Were they not supposed to ever talk to Barack Obama about the subject of Health Care reform? How do we think the President got those cost cutting pledges from the various leaders of the drugs, hospitals, doctors and insurance companies Industry if he didn’t talk to them? Why is the press attempting to compare Barack Obama to George Bush in reference to secret meetings if we have Obama's list being printed in every newspaper now? We never got a list from George Bush or Dick Cheney, remember?

What I’m thinking is that this article about secret meetings is meant to have the American people distrust this President, in particular, now that health care reform is on the frontburner. We are supposed to get scared that Barack Obama is just like Hillary Clinton and her secret meetings, or better yet, like Dick Cheney and his energy meetings (that we still have no clue who attended). The problem with that whole rationale is that we have the list of dates and names.

I’m very concerned that there is an agressive effort to keep Americans from getting the Health Care Reform that they need, and that the media is one of the parties attempting to keep it from happening. I’m gonna call it what it is; swiftboating.

I am very disappointed that the media thinks that American people are morons, and that we deserved a trillion dollar war of choice fought in our name, but we don't deserve health care reform, because far as I can tell, that is what all of this is about.

Sincerely,

XXXXXXXXXXXXX
