The media (THE TODAY SHOW) LEADING with Obama's "acted stupidly" comment shows how they love. . .
. . .create controversy. The president answered a ton of questions about health care the most pressing issue today and these sorry motherfuckers (yes I called them MOTHERFUCKERS) chose to lead with the "acted stupidly" comment.

The fact that the Cambridge Police dropped the charges is practically an acknowledgment that they acted stupidly.

3. This is Obama's fault
The race issue is an important one, and Obama took a strong stand on the wrong issue at the wrong time. It was foolish of him.

5. There is never a "right time" to talk about race so he did the right thing. . .
Its too bad the media and many in this country are too immature or unenlightened to deal with it.

6. Damn! You made it to three posts.
I was sure the first response was going to tell you that it's all Obama's fault.

Us little darkies should just shut the fuck up, sit down and go to the back of the bus.

8. But what I don't get is.
Why did the questioner, when he was on national tv during a presser for Health Care, waste his question on that? Ever think that it may have just been bigotry? Having been a public servant in a College town in a past life, I can guarantee you there are some pent up frustrations about those who are deemed privileged. Anyway, like the prez said I wasn't there, and it sounds to me like they BOTH acted stupidly.

Anyway, was here a long time before, got T.S.'d on a saturday in the great purge for my ferverent support of HRC, back again, the past shall remain the past.

7. I'm with you on this
Presidents steadfastly maintain silence about ongoing investigations, I don't seem to recall Bill Clinton making any statements one way or another about O.J.'s guilt or innocence.

19. I'm sure
there is an internal investigation of this incident so that the police have their ducks in a row in case of a lawsuit.

Again, I don't remember any President commenting on any issues while they were so relatively fresh. About the only "comment" they make is to issue a pardon after the courts have had their say.

11. And away we go.
Racism deniers love false equivalency. That's what they do.

Everytime a black person claims injustice, all you hear is OJ OJ OJ OJ. Like that's got anything to do with this.

14. Tweety gave us fair warning last night...
The moment the press conference was over he turned to Howard Fineman and asked him if he agreed that
the "acted stupidly" comment was Obama's error...a way of "stepping on his own headline." Howie agreed.
So we knew last night that they'd be ignoring health care and concentrating on The Cambridge Incident.
Walter Cronkite is spinning in his grave.

15. Well it was either that or Healthcare
And no doubt all the advertisers that sell medication and health plans probably would prefer to have the friendliest possible media market. So the media decided thumbs down to Obama's speech and thumbs up to comment made in regards to obviously racist cops.

18. It's ridiculous....I go checking for information on Health Care and
everywhere I look the media is focused on that comment. They did act stupidly. Why Lynn Sweet asked that question is stupid in itself.
