4. I guess, if you want an infinite GOP majority in Congress and Repub President
from now until they finally do in this country once and for all.

I'm feeling jittery about health care reform right now and I'm pissed about the delay as it gives every right wing nut another month to beat their incessant drum of gloom and doom.

But I'm not going Green, sorry. The last time SOME progressives did that, we were vexed with 8 years of Bush, an economy that almost collapsed, lies that led us into war among the long list of other disasters we're just beginning to work our way out of now. No, thanks!

6. Among the third-party candidates running in 2008, the Greens finished
dead last.

why it has no logistical rationale for victory.

There is a zone of problem-solving in which issues are engaged and debated. In the United States, most third parties have done either relatively poorly or extremely poorly in registering potential supporters, mobilizing likely local and state officials, impacting the public debate to raise the profile of the party and what it stands for, and not least, choosing attractive candidates who can goddam win an election.

I'm all for genuine respect for the Greens if they can pull this off, but to date, none of it has happened.

12. Considered it years ago and declined.
Besides being nowhere near viable, the Greens have issues of their own.
