Politico: Obama is the Man Who Knew Too Much
Edited on Thu Jul-23-09 07:36 PM by HopeOverFear
by way of Balloon Juice:

This tells you everything you need to do know about our elite media. From MSNBC’s First Read (via Politico):

Honest question: Is there a point when the president knows too much about an issue?

That’s what it’s come to: we’d be better off with a president who knew less about the issues.

And this from the same people who were saying “Ho, snap!” and high-fiving every time John McCain shouted “bear DNA!” at a confused American public.

Sometimes I think we are really fucked.

6. It's not that he knew too much
Edited on Thu Jul-23-09 08:38 PM by jeanpalmer
It's that he promised too much...to get elected.

Now he is faced with the reality, of trying to deliver on campaign promises that were not much more than slogans.

9. He didn't promise a damn thing that wasn't way beyond past due.
The last thing we need is more know nothing, do nothing. Hell,a lot more needs doing, much more, but the reality pipeline is about a millimeter in diameter. Anything that can be done needs to be done with great haste. Doing nothing is likely the worst option on many fronts.

7. Obama talks to Americans as if they are adults
The media talks to Americans as if they are particularly stupid children.

There's no mystery about why the media all pouts when Obama speaks.
