|
Intelligent people frequently act stupidly. For example, see the post I am responding to.

3. I don't care what the President said I'm talking about my experience with fellow employees |
|

plus the media is the one bringing in what the President said and right wing talk is under the impression that cops can't do no wrong and Mr Gates should have been arrested because he mouthed off at the officer.People forget also this current Supreme Court has given the cops more power in stopping people and not having warrants to enter a home everybody is forgetting that

5. Where is this notion coming from the cops are above the law and above criticism? |
|
Of course there is stupid in law enforcement, there is stupid in every profession. I have had run ins with cops who totally had a stick up their butt for no reason and then some were fantastic and helpful.

9. Chicago's Commander Burge |

was not stupid, but evil. And finally, he will be tried for his crimes. What was stupid was how long he got away with his crimes.

8. The right wing media has been calling that captured U.S. soldier a |
|
traiter and a desserter for weeks, with absolutely no evidence of either! But I haven't heard one word about it on MSM.
Throughout our history, cops have been racially profiling and mistreating blacks and hispanics. That doesn't mean they all do it, and that doesn't mean it's as bad as it once was, but people do have a right to question their tactics when they act so STUPIDLY!
