It Amazes Me That People Are Still Saying That The Police Were Called Stupid
when it is well know by now that stupidity was used for the police officers "actions" not the officer himself though I personal believe him to be an idiot...

One more time, President Obama never called the officer in question stupid, he said arresting Proff. Gates was stupidity, which is was!

And if anyone in this country decides to put him or herself in Proff. Gates position you would I promise have alot more choice words to use for the officer in question, that is fact, and fact for all of you freepers out there or whatever you choose to call yourselves these days who simply do not like the president because he is not an ignorant republican or the right color period...

It would be nice if people out there especially you idiots attempting to disrupt Du would at least for once attempt to be honest with us as well as yourselves...be honest, what could it hurt in cyber space, anyone not believing the cop was wrong period is nothing more than prejudice and or finds this whole episode worthy of nit picking once again on a president who blows the last one away in not only intelligence but looks and class and for once cares about us the people not just himself and his cronies....

3. It's a good ploy, calling out the Prez for saying cops are stupid
The issue diverts attention from health care, so Repubs will pursue it as one more way to kill any hope of a really helpful health system reform.

6. Thankfully we still have many activists working for an improved health care
system even if the media chooses to ignore it, it really comes as no surprise, they never like to focus on issues that might hurt the pockets of the very wealthy which addressing health care would be doing, to bad, the media might ignore but we the people will not much to their annoyance and if it wasn't this arrest to divert their attention, I have no doubt they would have found another story to help keep them from talking about health care reform....

4. "acted stupidly"
"Stupidly" is an adverb that refers to an action. "Stupid" is an adjective that refers to a person. Obama said they "acted stupidly." Stupid people who can't understand their own native language (Take that, you stupid "Engulish is are national lanaguage" people.) can't tell the difference.

is not a useful talent; unless you want to appear stupid.

10. The authoritarians are certainly not all freepers. Probably they are the extreme minority
We have plenty of our own, though the reasons probably have many sources. There has always been a number on the left that wants government control of the individuals and we have a ton of gutless chumps. Bush didn't get that 90% approval in the run up to Iraq with out a ton of lefties. You put the fear into a lot of Democrats and they become big fans of authority and it's "wisdom".

There's also a big bunch of us here that generally share the freeper worldview but are gay, are pro-abortion, or in someway makes it impossible to fit in with the Republicans.
