So let me get this sKrait, the arresting officer believes Gates is the residence and states it twice in his report then he still ask's for ID and confirms he's the resident and STILL arrest Gates after Gates shows he's pissed?!

10. After the fact. Gates foundthe front door jammed and went in the back door.

He then tried to open the front door from inside, but it was jammed. He and the driver tried to force the door open and, after 15 minutes of effort, the door opened and the driver left.

The police arrived a short time later.
