Poll: "Seven in 10 Americans favor the passage of new healthcare reform legislation"
Edited on Fri Jul-24-09 03:09 PM by ProSense
Most in U.S. Want Healthcare Reform, but Vary on Urgency

Edited to add:

Results from a Gallup Poll conducted Thursday night, one day after President Obama's press conference at which he emphasized the importance of moving quickly on healthcare reform legislation, show that 41% of Americans would advise their representative in Congress to pass a new healthcare reform law by the end of this year; another 30% would say Congress should pass a new law, but not necessarily this year; and the remainder -- 24% -- don't think Congress should pass a new healthcare reform law at all.

1. Yeap, every poll on this issue has been pretty consistant. I've seen 83%, 72%, 69% and now 71%
...and if KKKons get in the way I pray they be called out on it.

3. Despite the media's attempt to portray reform as dead, public support is stil high
and Congress is still working (so are the opponents).

9. They must have gotten free brain transplants with their health insurance...
... and Republican hate group memberships!

They always seemed to be programmed to be self-defeating idiots programmed to be just governed by hate towards others instead of having any kind of rational thought processes...

They've joined Laura's club here...

14. Taxes wouldn't *need* to be raised
Edited on Fri Jul-24-09 07:52 PM by Oregone
60% of health costs are publicly funded anyway. All they would have to do is reform to a system that only costs 60% of the current one, yet covers everyone universally. If we could only imagine such a fantastic system... :)
