And if you remember the Denver Stadium rally after the nomination at the Dem Convention - the music that was played as the now President & Vice President and their families came out to meet the people - it was the theme music from "Remember the Titans" movie. I urge you to watch the movie to hopefully get an inkling of what I'm eluding to in my post. I have to think that the choice of that music was a way to deliver a subliminal message to the electorate.

Given the tough week that President Obama has just come off from - with the delay in any health care reform; the dissension he has to deal with not only from the Repugs but in his own party as well; the Crowley/Gates matter; and the MSM piling on and doing everything in their power to discredit him - I just thought reminding him of these three simple words might spur him on and give him a boost.

I don't know if there is a message in you DU name (MADem)- but being MAD and non-supportive and negative is not a way we're going to get anywhere.

Really - go and rent the movie this weekend - then come back Monday to comment further.

It's just a lame post. "Remember the Titans!" You might as well say "Remember Bruce Lee!" I prefer the music from the film DRAGON, myself, for an inspirational soundtrack. And the last TITAN in the news took several bullets while sleeping in the bed with his girlfriend, about whom his wife and children, we assume, were unaware, who then shot her crazyass self. I think we're better off not talking about things TITAN in the near term.

I hope your alluding, too, because 'eluding' is what one tries to do to the authorities when one has broken the law.

I am a MAssachusetts DEMocrat, that's the meaning in my name. I'm not the only one here who does the STATE/Dem schtick.

I'm very supportive of Obama, I just don't think much of this kind of cryptic silliness. The reason you got "The Eagle Flies at Midnight" in response to your post is because that made about as much sense.
