I can't take this shit anymore, Pro-Life State Sen. Paul Stanley, Mr. Abstinence cheats on wife

Pro-Life State Sen. Paul Stanley, Mr. Abstinence cheats on wife with 22 year old intern and gets blackmailed.

Go visit our good friend John Amato on Crooks and Liars, to read more about this pompous RW asshole.

"Here we go again. Another phony pro-life or should I say, anti-choice republican gets exposed in dirty dealings. He's not so much against the idea of sex as wanting the young ones for himself".

snip-

Nashville Post:

In April of this year, I and a group of Planned
Parenthood supporters from Memphis met with Sen. Paul Stanley in his
office. We told him about all the good Planned Parenthood does in
Memphis by providing basic gynecological health care and birth control
to teens and young people and also providing medically-accurate
sexuality education programs. I had hoped to convince him that there’s
a real need for our services, especially in Memphis, which has the
highest sexually transmitted infection rates in the nation and one of
the highest teenage pregnancy rates as well. Planned Parenthood
Greater Memphis Region tries to help young people and low income
people, almost all of whom are already sexually active protect
themselves from pregnancy and disease. Sen. Paul Stanley is my state
senator, and he made it clear at our meeting that he didn’t care about
my concerns about these issues that have a major impact in the Memphis
area and that he would not ever support Planned Parenthood.

snip

He told us that he didn’t believe young people should have sex
before marriage anyway, that his faith and church are important to
him, and he wants to promote abstinence, blah, blah, blah. Now I
realize that when he said those things, he had already been sexing it
up with an intern and her boyfriend was trying to blackmail him with
dirty pictures. In retrospect, I think maybe Sen. Stanley meant that
he just doesn’t want young people to have sex with each other, thereby
saving the cute young things for himself. Hypocrite, anyone?

Hypocrite? By all means.
Right Wing Christian Conservative ass wipe? Absolutely.

Every day, this shit makes me madder and madder and madder...

29. you continue to be obtuse in your overboard wording
there's plenty of wonderful highly liberal people of many types of religions, just as there's plenty of non-religious people - and in your case - plenty of not so wonderful people of non-religion. it's the narrow-minded bigot that you're referring to, but refuse to 'get it' and instead attack all believers of the faith of Christianity with a blanket attack - of which many are on this board fighting for the rights of a lady to have an abortion, for GLBTers to marry, and so on...

get a clue.

7. Senator Stanley sounds like "Judge Turpin" in SWEENEY TODD
Edited on Sun Jul-26-09 08:48 PM by Ken Burch
keeping his "pretty little ward" locked away from "any young man with 'mischief' on his mind", while secretly dreaming of (and, in the senator's case, unlike the judge's)actually getting to experience the day when the young thing would deliver him"...from this hot red devil, with your soft, white, cool, virgin palms".

Ramsey Condemns Stanley's Affair as 'Unconscionable'
By Jeff Woods in Legislature, Politics, Woods
Sunday, Jul. 26 2009 @ 6:47PM

It was a target-rich environment for the media Saturday night at the GOP's Statesmen's Dinner. A gang of Republicans were herded into the same room with reporters and forced to answer questions about Paul Stanley for the first time. Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey was in the tightest spot since he's the one in the governor's race with the most to lose in this scandal. The fundraiser actually was good timing for Ramsey, who was beginning to raise eyebrows by his silence on the matter. With a strong condemnation of Stanley, he made headlines and managed to buy more time from critics. Eventually, though, it seems likely that Ramsey will have to force Stanley to quit the Senate as well if the speaker wants to remain unscathed himself.

Ramsey said the news came as a big surprise to him. He said he forced Stanley to resign his committee chairmanship, and he denounced Stanley's affair with a legislative intern as "unconscionable" and "reprehensible." Quotes from Ramsey:

"It's sufficient (action) right now," he said of Stanley's quitting his chairmanship. "And I'm not going to say that resignation from the Senate is going to be out of order, let's put it that way. But you know, I obviously am taking it one step at a time, and I think that's significant now until Paul kind of gets his life back in order."

----

And the comments:

<snip>

Zach Wamp: "When anybody violates the trust of the public, we all sink. It's disheartening.Neither party is exempt. Neither party has an exclusive on integrity."

House GOP leader Glen Casada: "I don't see it as a distraction, it's just a painful thing. It's like a disease -- like if a friend gets cancer -- it just hurts."

Sen. Ken Yager, R-Harriman: "It's a tragedy for everybody. But we're committed and focused and ready to move forward."

Rep. Debra Maggart, R-Hendersonville: "It certainly is a distraction, but as long as we all continue to pray for him and the young lady, and Paul's wife and his children, I think the best we can all do."

Sen. Jack Johnson, R-Brentwood: "I've heard some suggest this reflects badly on the Republican Party. No, it doesn't. It reflects poorly on the situation. He's a good guy that allegedly did a bad thing. I hope he gets things right with his family and gets his house back in order."

He waited to have sex until after he was married. In fact, he's been married twice, which makes him extra married. Isn't that what extramarital means?

21. Ohh, the hypocrisy!
Do as I say not as I do. That seems to be the way of religion. Seems to me, that is the reason some of these white males believe in their white god, is to sanctify and justify their own crumby behavior. I know I'm not expressing the exact essence of the rage boiling up in me over the use of Morals and Scruples to control the public and all the fear of eternal damnation, but this does enrage me.

We are to a point where we need to instruct our children in the art of cognitive dissonance, or the art of deciphering what is stated compared to the actual behavior, or the double think. Thanks Republicans. No information for young women about birth control, because it's God's intention for all who fuck to be punished as mothers. Then the girl is either enslaved to support the little person she loves more than life itself, through any slave-market job she can find, and the child grows up to be the fodder of war. This is where I go off on the Pope.....:nuke:
