It's amazing how the USA already seems to be able to support a one trillion dollar per year industry. Where does that money come from? It's my understanding that that plans being discussed right now are around 20% of that. And yet... mysteriously, there's no money for that.

Non profit health insurance companies would avoid this tax.
If a for profit health insurer can make a more than 100% profit, they can either pay at least 75% of that in tax, or become a non profit and cover twice as many people.
The money is out there folks, its just that the Republicans don't want any of theirs being used. They are afraid that someone somewhere will actually benefit from something They did. :puke:
