Another dumb question about the various health care proposals on the table: |

Is the public option going to be available to everyone, or only to those making below a certain income level? Or does it depend on which proposal makes it out of Congress?
Will employers be able to buy into the public option? If so, why in hell would they spend extra to buy the same plan from a private insurance company?

We have to ask questions because we don't really know what's being proposed or what the final bill will mean for us. :-(
I have a few questions myself ...
I know there are supposed to be premium subsidies for people who can't afford it, but what about deductibles and co-pays? What about the cost of medication? Right now, there are people who have insurance, but don't go to the doctor because they can't afford the high, out-of-pocket expenses. How will any of the proposed bills or the public option change that? :shrug:
