For the first time in 46 years, our President is a Federal Legislator, |

a recent legislator. Our VP is a legislator of vast experience. Our Secretary of State is a fiercely partisan legislator, however you interpret her votes. 'The' Chief of Staff is a legislator of the ultra pirana variety.
"Don't bet against us". Hey Congress, we know where it hurts. Indeed.

Two can play this stupid game. I have no idea why Skinner et al are enamored with this system that just magnifies the cliquish nature of DU.
I was actually surprised that among recent rescues were some by individuals who usually are revered on these pages.

2009-46=1963 Nixon was in Congress before becoming Senator, but yes, it was 16 years between him being Senator and then becoming President. But Ford was House Minority Leader right before becoming vice-President. Just trying to correctly state the facts.
