Why don't other Hawaiians show their birth certificates so the idiots can see?
I would have some mass demonstration in which all the people who were born in Hawaii once it became a state showed their birth certificates. It's not like their secret documents or that they leave you open to some fraud or identity theft if done right. What would the moran teabagging birthers be able to claim after that? Anything outrageous would be laughed back into the closet which is where it should be. Or under a rock, or wherever the muck resides.

1. They won't believe it.
Their minds(?) are made up, don't confuse them with facts. Their feeble brains may overload and cause smoke to come out their ears.

2. But other Americans will begin to dismiss them
Who cares what they believe. That's why I said they could go back under a rock or back into the closet. Ridicule should be the automatic reaction to these troglodytes.

3. They have
I followed a link to fr for one of these threads and read trough the comments. Mixed in among the expected racist crap was someone asking for any fr members to post their birth certificate so they could compare. Someone replied that it had already been done and even gave a link to a site the supposedly (I'm not sure, I did not follow it) had several.

It does not matter though. Much like the people that believe there were no planes on 9/11, rational thought and facts mean nothing. The only reason they have any exposure is because of our rights wing media.

5. I never heard of anyone believing there weren't any planes on 9/11
But if they were constantly featured in the msm the way Birthers are as if they had some sort of credible legitimacy then your comparison would work.

4. A few on the right have latched onto this non-issue as a feeble attempt
to neutralize the Obama administration. Short of having a semen-stained dress this is the best they've got, for now anyway.

6. Kinda like those old cigarette commercials,
we could all walk around with our birth certificates at the ready, and flash at everyone we see.

Or we could each get a T-shirt with an image of our birth certificate and the lettering "U.S. American."

Isn't it about time this stupidity collapsed under its own weight?

8. I actually like your idea
Some sort of mass reaction to the stupid is the only way to deal with the stupid. Just smack it down and make it go into a corner where it belongs.

9. I'm up for that, but the birthers don't really care about the docs.
They will never accept any documentation. The whole whing is just cover for their racism and bitterness.

10. I think that is an awesome idea... get 1000's of Hawaiians`
standing, holding of their birth certificates from Hawaii..and get one of those great aerial shots. I doubt if it would change the birfers..but it would be so cool just to hold up, every time they go on one of their screeds.

I rec. this heartily..

12. That would be so cool. The gesture itself would be a major statement
The only way to dispel stupid is to educate those around it, because it will never go away.
