14. I'm more than happy to replace corrupt and cowardly Dems with Republicans
Edited on Wed Jul-29-09 04:07 AM by depakid
if that's what it takes to get them out.

Wouldn't be my first choice, but the bottom line is that it's in EVERYONE'S long term interest that there be accountability. Starting with Harry Reid.

18. because I think long term, strategically about getting progressive policies in place
Edited on Wed Jul-29-09 07:01 AM by depakid
Rather than shallowly about what letter currently lies behind the name. More than a few so called "Democrats" have not only become "cancers in the locker room" -but are among the best players on the Republican's team. We're better off with them out- replacing them down the line with honest folks who support traditional Democratic values.

3. If everyone stuck to their promises not to donate every time they don't agree with a politician
there wouldn't be any money left to run on.

4. They'll get it from the insurance companies
who can come up with way more than even our pooled resources would amount to.

6. Not sure about that.......what percentage of President Obama's donations came from...
Corporations?

I think we have more clought than you think with our donations.

If enough Dems felt threatened The Blue Dogs would get pulled into a back room
and put in their place.

5. Because Some Dems Are Jerks, Then All Dems Should Be Punished?
That's some real fucked up logic there. In fact, that's the very kind of logic that lead to Bush's election in 2000.

8. Yeah, it's so stupid that you'd think the people pushing moronic ideas like this were R's
It doesn't make any sense to cut off your head to spite three toes on your right foot.

9. For every dime we withhold, a private insurer will give them a penny
and the stupid Dem will call it good.

Fuckups all of them.

10. Let me clarify....what I was hoping would happen by doing this is the rest of the Dems would take...
the Blue Dogs to the woodshed if they thought they were going to take a hit in the re-election funds.

12. Sorry, I'm not stupid enough to empower Republiscum.
Whatever benefit we'd get from "teaching them a lesson" would be like trading a million dollars for a single muddy food stamp, at best.

15. And that's exactly why America's in the sorry situation it's in- where Dems routinely support
Republican policies.

13. No. Only those so-called blue dog democrats and those who
are accepting money from the health care lobbyists who want to defeat public option. We should find out exactly who, exactly how much and shout it from the rooftops.

16. Try to remember
That the Dems against a Public Option aren't taking money from progressives that much to begin with.

We have 60 democratic Senators and about 45 Progressive democratic senators.
