Obama's ratings in Free Fall; Professor Gates a rogue delinquent... |
|
Edited on Wed Jul-29-09 02:14 PM by SuperTrouper
if you believe MSNBC the sky is falling. First, they are talking ad nauseum about a new poll that is coming out at 6:30 PM where Obama's numbers (if you believe Andrea Mitchell) are "taking a dive". Also, in the Tamron Hall show they are just talking about a poll that came out saying that 27% blame Dr. Gates for the incident in Cambridge, MA and only 11% blame Sgt. Crowley (remember, it was the MSM that jumped to conclusions about Gates and glorified Crowley as just doing his job) So, if you believe the MSM, President Obama is on his way out  and so it continues, the MSM continuous attack on our President and his policies.

1. His numbers could be like W's for all I care. If he doesn't turn around the economy... |
|
and pass health care, then it won't matter.

4. W, like Obama, was at 59% at the same stage of his Presidency. |
|
And this was after W was 'declared' President in 2001. If Obama drops in the polls, chances for him getting new initiatives will diminish.

15. I doubt Obama will lie us into war and ignore victims of a hurricane |
|
If that happens, then his numbers will reach the upper-20's that Bush got. I'm not worried at all.

3. I'll worry about Polls election season |
|
.
Having said that. His ratings falling is a good thing in my opinion. Because its likely because Democrats aren't happy. So maybe he will wake up and stop trying to make Republicans like him

12. The last polls actually showed Dems MORE happy with Obama. |
|
And Republicans less so, which pushed the numbers down.
Remember, the DU types are a tiny percentage of the base.

5. brace yourself for a number at or under 50 |
|
Because their last poll had him at 56. Probably not over 52%.

9. Maybe I am naive but with only 6 months in office and after |
|
the cataclysmic disaster of 8 years of George W. Bush (with the harlot MSM cheering him on) it is incredible that they are being so hard on President Obama. It is the MSM that wants the GOP back.

And if Obama were to fail to gain re-election, all it would do is force the Democratic party into a far more conservative direction - It would be validation of the GOP, it would prove once and for all that Americans prefer George Bush's brand of politics over anything the Dems can offer, hence his eight years followed by a brief Democratic interlude with usual service resumed immediately after.
If people think that differences are hard to come by now, wait and see what happens if Obama loses in 2012. Your average 'Blue Dog' will suddenly be about as liberal as it gets outside of Massachusetts and California. The mass-media would be thrilled.

8. He's going to keep falling without a recover |
|
And blatantly advertising the "D-Goldman Sachs" under your name is not helping him with his base, either.
