Obama's Slight Drop In The Polls Is Neither Surprising Nor Alarming
In fact, it should be welcomed. Why? Because instead of doing what's politically safe, he's pushing through a reform agenda, and some people are not going to like reform. Reforming healthcare is going to cost some poll numbers, no matter what he does, so better to lose some of that popularity now, in a non-election year, than a year from now.

1. He said he was going to spend his political capital to get healthcare and he is doing it.

5. For some in this country, it IS radical. My parents are convinced he is pushing health reform that
will kill seniors. I am not kidding. Trust me, growing up in my family was interesting and I see how the other side thinks everyday. I am close to my misguided parents and the stuff they spout from Faux News cracks me up.

12. The Politically Safe Thing To Do Would Be Nothing At All
And he has the horrible Bush economy as his cover.

Now, if you can get the Blue Dog assholes to come around, then you should get off of Obama's ass.

7. Chuch Todd is sort of tragic, rose to his status and simply doesn't have the brains
to really understand politics.

His interpretation of events is ludicrous and hyperbolic. I don't think he has a direct agenda against Democrats or Obama in particular, he's just not that good at his job, and his rookie status causes him to over-sensationalize everything and attempt to "make" a bigger story where there isn't one.

11. High gas prices are a major factor for the loss in support

Have you been to the gas station lately? Everyone seems very CRANKY.

The OPEC monopoly together with oil speculation should be tackled as part of any energy legislation.
