The Missed Point (Obama's Grant Comment)
I keep hearing pugs and pundits say that Obama shouldn't have spoken because it was a police matter.

However, it wasn't an open investigation. The charges against Gates had already been dropped by the time Obama made his remarks.

And that's the point in a nutshell. His comments has no outcome on the result. He had nothing to apologize for. And he was right, they did act stupidly... as it has been PROVEN since.

That's all...

And were referring to the persistence theme.

Now that would really be taking a page from the right wing's playbook.
