6. That does seem weird.
Seems kind of dickish to bring a posse when you are personally invited to the White House.

10. oh, ok.
I thought that they invited themselves to the "meeting" or something, that would have been weird...or maybe they wanted to go but couldn't get in, lol.

9. Seems like he doesn't feel so big and bad now... esp. since the arrest was wrong
and he'll probably get his ass sued.

11. He can't turn down the invitation and he wants to make sure his legal rights are respected.
He doesn't want to be alone with rich powerful people who are hostile to him.

The moral of the story is a cop shouldn't mess with a rich well connected black man.

Do you ever hear president Obama talk about the shit that goes on with Chicago cops in poor black neighborhoods?

12. Link?
All that I saw in the article about the meeting is that both gates and crowley broght family members to the white house with them to meet the president. Not sure who entertained them while the men went out a brew.

18. always remember.........
Whenever the President TALKS to ANYONE ....... the outcome will ALWAYS be good. He could stage a poker game with Hitler, Satan and Dick Cheney and they'd all come out of it with a different way of looking at the world.

Well, maybe not Cheney.

I realize there's no official word that the entourage is meeting with the President, but you KNOW they are, off the record though it may be.

And make no mistake about it, this administration SUPPORTS UNIONS.

22. pictures show him being the only one NOT drinking beer ...
iced tea, with lemon, looks like ...

Biden, Obama, and Gates all have beer (clear liquid, foam on surface as my "evidence") ... Crowley's is foggy, with what appears to be a lemon at the top ... I haven't heard of any beer which goes with lemon ... if so, please educate me ... I know Corona does the "lime" thing ...
