U.S. Signs UN Convention On the Rights Of Persons With Disabilities (PHOTOS)

US Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice signs the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons With Disabilities while Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs, looks on July 30, 2009 at the United Nations in New York City. The UN treaty calls on all countries to guarantee equal benefits, protection, and justice for individuals with disabilities around the world.

1. I hope
This includes mental illness and other disabilities you cannot see.And it would be nice if it isn't a show signing,but the charter for this guarantee equal benefits, protection, and justice for individuals with disabilities around the world,is actually enforced around the world.
