A few political analysts - and we - are concentrating too much on Republican protests...
and not enough on pushing for health care reform.

If they want to disrupt town hall meetings like a bunch of goons, that's their problem. Democrats should concentrate on the power of positive promotion. Become a mini-factcheck.org and send out your own chain email emphasizing the positive change that reform would bring. Attend the town hall meetings in your area and distribute fliers that promote the initiative, including the fact that many who would die due to otherwise untreated diseases would have a chance to access proper care with reform.

Republican hoodlums? Forget them.

Be the change.

P.S.: Also remember that there are many online "news" sites whose bread and butter were made by corrupt government activity during the Bush administration. Those sites don't have a business plan for when something actually works WELL in the White House. It's their meal ticket to find issues to gripe about.

1. Nope. If we let them go, they win. We multi-task for sure, but we do not ignore them

2. I just got a letter from Congressman Wu for my request about health care legislation
It is a nice tangible reminder that I am one of many registering my opinion as regularly as I can. If you don't speak up, how can people know what you think?

Don't be lazy people. Just call, write, or even make it to a town hall. You should confront any rude people. Tell them to SIT THE FUCK DOWN and treat this as a respectful opportunity to engage your congressperson. That is the lunacy here. What happened to decorum and decency?

When I see videos of these confrontations I see people who look like they're going in spoiling for a fight and who WANT to create noise, and who don't even understand how Democracy works.
