Any Dem Senator proposing an amendment to C4C *NOW* is a freakin' idiot

The House has adjourned.

The Senate *HAS* to pass the *EXACT* same bill as the House, or the program is dead. There's no way to rectify two separate bills in committee.

The *ONLY* way the program stays afloat right now is if the Senate passes it with ZERO amendments.

Tom Harkin is a freaking idiot, or he's gone senile.

1. Harkin? What did he propose?
Right now they voting on an Isaacson amendment to give $1500 to anyone wanting to buy a house.

2. Latest amendment vote FAILED 47-51.
Very close vote. They continue to vote on amendments. Seems to be a dog and pony show where they eventually approve the extension in the end.

6. It was part of a deal
Certain amendments would be offered and all voted down.

I guess some people wanted to be able to say they tried to do a certain thing.
