I think Joe is still the coolest VP in my book. I don't like how the media sometimes portrays him as the clumsy uncle.

He really does love pies, lol.

Those pictures are all terrific. I've been waiting for those flyfishing pics. That guide is a lifelong Dem and was thrilled to be able to guide Obama. Said they talked about family and day to day things for the most part.

He just didn't like cakes.

Isn't casting around indoors sorta dangerous? Not to mention bad for any furniture that might get snagged?

23. I've said it before...
...and I hope it ain't insulting, but the difference between Obama and the last guy is:

Obama makes this look GOOD!

Seriously, just seeing him doing his thing, with confidence and competence,
gives me confidence, in him, and in our future.

24. Looking at these I think of the saying - "When the Student is Ready the Teacher Will Come"
I really think President Obama was sent to all of us as a teacher. A teacher of how to be the best we can be. Father, husband, leader, you can go on and on. He is just him and that is plenty! How can you look at these pictures and not just think he "belongs" in the Oval Office.

Blessings to him and his family and many thanks for being there!

41. Is it just me...
or is there something different in the pics of him with African American children? The looks on the kids faces are different than when they meet just any famous person. To me it seems like the joy of knowing that, finally, ANYONE can grow up to be the president. Those pics always give me the same choked up feeling I had when I left the voting box.
