Michael Bennet supports a public option

Any health care reform bill should control costs, allow people to keep their own medical plan and their own doctor, increase competition, and increase coverage -- all in a fiscally responsible way. for his silence on the public option. I think constituents may have been calling his office as well, since there's a strong prospect that he'll face competition for his seat.

The Broomfield Democrats wrote him an open letter saying support a robust public option or expect not only no monetary support for his reelection campaign but also full support for any candidate that challenged him in the primary.
