Conservatives on Obama's stay-in-school speech: "Indoctrination," "brainwashing," Communist China, Hitler Youth

58 minutes ago — 24 Comments
Numerous conservatives have claimed that President Obama's upcoming September 8 speech about "persisting and succeeding in school," along with classroom activities about the "importance of education," will "indoctrinate" and "brainwash" schoolchildren. Conservatives have compared Obama's address to Chinese communism and the Hitler Youth, while also calling for parents to "keep your kids home" from the "fascist in chief."

Michelle Malkin has also written an editorial, and surely there are more. They are crazed about it. I can't wait to hear Glenn Beck's take on it, as well as Michelle Bachman.

1. Lol. These "conservatives" are all about indoctrination.
They are usually the ones forcing religion down their kids' throats from day 1.

9. The Republicans are terrified of education
People who know how to think won't think like the morans man. Or, as John Stuart Mill put it "Not all conservatives are stupid, but most stupid people are conservative." They've got a vested interest in keeping people stupid, docile and scared. How the hell else are they going to get back in the White House?

uninformed, under-educated screamers at health care town hall meetings.

How could any educated compassionate person ever vote for a republican and their sick, selfish, elitist ideology....They wouldn't.

The solution for republicans is to continue to keep Americans dumb, pre-occupied with meaningless bullshit...

Republicans have always fought to destroy public education & gut funding, it's absolutely been a planned conscious decision for survival by the republicans...

Stop the teaching of subjects (history, government or civics) that would enhance ones outlook of their own rights & governments role.

Just look at the frightened ugly controlled hateful working class people who vote republican, they are truly dumb, stupid, ignorant racist, hateful greedy sheep!

The republicans constant lies, preaching that good Americans = Christianity, gun control lies abortion lies, ecological lies tax cuts (but only the rich receive it )and on and on one issue platform, bullshit tailored for the uninformed, the ignorant, the hateful, the blame someone else lies...which keeps the republicans always in a position to do more greedy, selfish imperialism as well stealing us Americans blind....and leaving a path of destruction behind them.

None of them said a word about the fascist plan in Texas to allow only history about Republicans in text books used in public school. That's indoctrination.
