The president should ask members of congress
if they are really comfortable going back home to their constituents
and announcing that they obstructed and denied them healthcare.
Really...? You are fine with that? Really!?

there is no scenario where passing nothing relating to health care is good for us.
It will be a disaster for any democrat who decides to go down with the public option ship rather than support some lesser version of health care reform.
Elected officials should not to throw themselves on the "public option" sword.

Next week the President is going to tell Congress what reforms he wants to see in the bill that they send him.
If members of Congress don't vote for those things to go into the bill, they need to answer to the people who sent them to Washington as to why they didn't want to include those reforms.
