1. Depends on what you want to get through.

Do you want legislation that guarantees everyone access to necessary, comprehensive and quality health care, or a give away bill that lets the corporate health insurance and PhRMA industries even a bigger feeding place at the trough of taxpayers' money meant for health care?

2. the thing is that there are people out there with NO insurance

7. They need health care access not insurance.

Unless you are a member of Congress with top of the line insurance paid for by us, or you can go to Bethseda Hospital like many of our Senators do, you will not get health care with your insurance. Why don't people get it until it is too late and they find themselves with no coverage after a serious illness or diagnosis? People need access to a govt. run program like Medicare or Tri-Care or even the VA.

And the compromise bills that I have read don't get me health care. Requiring people who could not afford insurance to buy insurance is not a solution to this problem.

Offer me one that will cover me and everyone, and I am all behind it.
