I don't want a *&^%$# health care bill that passes by a wide majority. |
|
I want one that passes by a few votes in the house, and one where VP Biden has to break a tie in the Senate.
If it passes by a wide margin--WE LEFT TOO MUCH ON THE FUCKING TABLE!
DAMMIT. We, the Democrats, are holding 4 aces and a joker. The ONLY way we lose is if we fold our hand.
Bipartisanship, on this issue, is for goddamned losers.

1. I don't care about the vote margin as long as the bill doesn't suck. (nt) |

3. I want a bill that passes with as many votes as possible because |
|
that way it won't be repealed and can be amended as needed just as Social Security and Medicare both were.

4. Are you kidding? Medicare was one tough fight and was |
|
a damned close vote. LBJ didn't want a wide margin because of the the very fact that if he got one he figured he would have left too much on the table in negotiations. We need another LBJ.

5. Don't worry. We're gonna not get one that passes by a wide majority. |
|
I think that much is clear.
