His spokesman said something like "Mr. Obama would be satisfied with one term" or something to that effect. I remember being rather shocked at the time, but I guess that is a realistic and hard hitting attitude to take--and it helps him focus on the issues at hand rather than the next election and just trying to do what will make the masses quiet.
