We need to stop saying a public option and start saying a strong public option.
Or else we will end up with garbage.

1. Disagree. We are desparate. We will take any shiny trinket. Who cares if its not an option for most.
As long as it exists, it will magically "bring competition", "drive down costs" and "keep insurers honest"

4. Desparate I tell you
I will take an agreement to put blowjobs towards our mandated premiums. Anything. As long as the Democrats pass something, in the end, who needs principles?

6. Id rather have a corporatist elected...
than a progressive elected that I would be too worried about wasting my vote on (because they are unelectable). :)

Hey, don't worry about it.

You have the choice of two corporatist mostly due to the way the government is setup. Pair that with the media, and its all just bad news.

2. We will end up with NOTHING.
Nothing but a huge windfall for the insurance industry, and a pocket full of shit for us.
