Schoolchildren speech

One poster said earlier that people should keep their kids home to WATCH the speech. Which is a good idea. . .

I've been thinking, though - is there some way to organize the group of parents in your school who WANT their kids to watch it - and show it say - outside the building - across the street if it can't "be on school grounds" - or ask if you can use the gym or auditorium or something. Stage a "walk-out" just before the speech is to be shown. Set up laptops with live streaming. Have a rally to support STAY IN SCHOOL, STUDY HARD, and MAKE GOOD GRADES.

The point would be to make it glaringly apparent to those kids "left in their seats" that something is going on. It would at least open up some dialogue among the kids - whether their idiot parents want them to or not, ya know?

So - just a thought. I'm not sure how one would go about it, though - but I know there are many creative DU'ers who might have some ideas how to go about it.
